Christine joined our Shipping department 1.5 years ago and handles the day to day shipping tasks including updating the estimated arrival date into port and ensuring this information is relayed onto the dealers. She also assists the Accounts Department.
A little about Christine
- She was born in Cairns but lived in London for about 7 years before moving to the East Coast of Brisbane.
- Christine likes the early mornings and can’t stand mess.
- She owns a beautiful Lagotto Romagnolo called Spencer.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to spend time with my husband and our 8-year-old son. Friday night is movie night at home. On Saturday I watch our son play his basketball game and on Sundays, we like to either go for a drive to the Sunny Coast and take our dog to the beach or head into South Bank for breakfast and an early swim. I enjoy the camping getaways with the family when we can.
How does a normal day at work look like?
My day at the TWO office starts at 8.30 am. It is a varied day with not one day the same – updating arrival dates for containers to port, replying to emails, assisting dealers with estimated delivery dates and following up payments for statements.
What is your favourite part about your job?
My favourite part about my job is the variety of daily tasks, you don’t get stuck repeating the same thing over and over. Another thing that I really enjoy is chatting with the dealers, it makes every day different from the one before.
